Our AI Policy

Answers You Can Verify — effective September 10, 2026

We use AI throughout this platform — to power practice tools, answer support questions, and help your instructors teach more effectively. But aviation is a regulated discipline where wrong information isn't just inconvenient; it's a safety issue. So we hold our AI to a standard you won't find elsewhere in online education: zero tolerance for unverified answers.

What Our AI Will Always Do

  • Answer from official sources — the same references your examiner uses: the current 14 CFR, FAA handbooks and Advisory Circulars, the AIM, and current FAA chart editions.
  • Show its work — citations are included in answers (the regulation section, handbook number, or chart edition), or available on request.
  • Use your real records — questions about your courses, progress, or certificates are answered from your actual enrollment data, never assumptions.
  • Know when to fold — if a question isn't covered by a citable source, our AI says so and refers you to your instructor. A human always has its back.

What Our AI Will Never Do

  • Guess, or fill gaps with plausible-sounding content
  • Interpret regulations for your specific situation — that's your certificated instructor's job, and it stays that way
  • Replace the judgment of a CFI, CFII, or MEI
  • Reproduce actual FAA exam questions

Why We're This Strict

One confident wrong answer outweighs a thousand honest "I don't knows." In flight training, the honest referral is the correct answer.

Every AI feature on this platform is built, tested, and audited against this policy. If our AI ever gives you an answer you can't verify — tell us, and we'll fix it.
